No 4x4? No stress. Rent one of our fully equipped overlanders for an additional R15,200 and join the same self-drive convoy — complete with a fridge, camping kit, recovery basics, and all the essentials. Arrive, load up, and go.
Day-by-Day Itinerary
Tuesday 15 Dec — Richtersveld → Okiep
Exit the Richtersveld and travel back toward Springbok. Overnight in Okiep.
Wednesday 16 Dec — Okiep → Augrabies
Travel to Augrabies Falls and explore the national park.
Thursday 17 Dec — Augrabies → Twee Rivieren
Head north to Kgalagadi Transfrontier Park. Overnight at Twee Rivieren.
Friday 18 Dec — Twee Rivieren → Mata-Mata
Drive through the Kgalagadi to Mata-Mata, with the day focused on wildlife and exploring the park.
Saturday 19 Dec — Mata-Mata → Twee Rivieren
Final drive through the Kgalagadi, returning to Twee Rivieren for our last evening together and tour wrap-up.
Saturday 12 Dec — Springbok → Brandkaros
Meet in Springbok and travel to Brandkaros Camp near the Richtersveld.
Sunday 13 Dec — Brandkaros → Potjiespram
Enter the Richtersveld and camp at Potjiespram.
Monday 14 Dec — Potjiespram → De Hoop
Travel deeper into the Richtersveld to De Hoop. Afternoon to explore and enjoy the area.
