Your package includes a fully equipped 4x4 Overlander for 21 days, with rooftop tent, fridge and camping kit. Collect in Cape Town and hand over in Gaborone; we arrange the vehicle return.
Day-by-Day Itinerary
Days 6–7 — Baviaanskloof → Hogsback
Day 6: Drive ±350–400 km to Hogsback. Day 7: Explore the forests and waterfalls or enjoy a rest day. Two nights camping with your rooftop tent.
Day 8 — Hogsback → Kimberley
A longer driving day of ±620–650 km north to Kimberley. Rest in a private room or unit with secure parking before crossing into Botswana.
Days 9–10 — Kimberley → Tsabong → Jwaneng
Day 9: Cross at McCarthy’s Rest and continue to Tsabong, ±460–470 km, camping at Camel Park. Day 10: Drive ±360 km to Jwaneng for a guest-house overnight.
Days 1–2 — Cape Town → Stellenbosch
Day 1: Collect your equipped Overlander and drive ±50 km to Stellenbosch. Day 2: Explore the Winelands at your own pace. Two nights in a private self-catering room or unit.
Day 3 — Stellenbosch → Barrydale
Follow Route 62 for ±215 km to Barrydale. Enjoy small-town character and an overnight stay in a self-catering room or unit.
Days 4–5 — Barrydale → Baviaanskloof
Day 4: Travel via Willowmore to Cedar Falls, ±370 km. Day 5: Explore Baviaanskloof. Two nights in the Cedar Falls room.
Days 11–12 — Khama Rhino Sanctuary
Day 11: Drive ±470 km from Jwaneng to Khama Rhino Sanctuary. Day 12: Enjoy wildlife viewing and a relaxed day in the sanctuary. Two nights at the same campsite.
Days 13–14 — Makgadikgadi / Gweta
Day 13: Travel ±380–400 km to the Makgadikgadi / Gweta area. Day 14: Explore the pans and surrounding landscapes. Two nights at Planet Baobab or a confirmed alternative.
Days 15–16 — Maun → Khwai
Day 15: A full travel day via Maun to Khwai. Day 16: Enjoy wildlife viewing in this remarkable safari area. Two nights at Magotho Campsite or a confirmed alternative.
Days 17–19 — Kasane, Chobe & Victoria Falls
Day 17: Drive via Savuti to Kasane, ±260–280 km. Day 18: Explore Chobe National Park. Day 19: Enjoy a Victoria Falls day visit. Three nights at Senyati; day-trip inclusions confirmed in your quote.
Days 20–21 — Francistown → Gaborone
Day 20: Drive ±495 km from Kasane to Francistown and stay overnight. Day 21: Continue ±435 km to Gaborone, hand over the vehicle at the agreed point and fly out. We arrange the vehicle return to Cape Town.
